Dear Alice, I received your postal and am glad that you are having a good time with “the Carl.” Alice (the cook) came down to the beach Saturday afternoon & said that Papa was sick so we packed up Saturday night and went home. I was awfully glad to get home, Have been having lots of fun. Mrs. Ford is sick this morning and I am playing doctor, Mrs. Walker’s address is 425 N. Hill. Won’t you come up some time and see me and spend the night. Maybe I can get Edith and Camille too. Well good by, Martha
