Pershing Square in the heart of the city now covers an immense three-level public parking lot. On the left is Biltmore Hotel and on the right the Philharmonic Auditorium.
Franked with two one-cent green Madison stamps and a one-cent greeen Lincoln, and cancelled in Los Angeles in 1960, B writes Mrs. Iola M. Millar, care of the Los Angeles County General Hospital, Los Angeles, Ward 18-400, "This is the old Central Park, now is Pershing Square and Biltmore Hotel."
