Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Gaze. Date: 1958-02-12 (?). Reporter: Gaze. Assignment: Pacific Ocean Park. Special instructions: For Monday 17th. 65/66/55: Left to right: William H. Jaynes, 43, (please check-Jaynes wears glasses, has on checked vest) and Ben A. O'Dorisio, 39, who conceived idea of Pacific Ocean Park as a unique, family type amusement center. They are vice-presidents and general managers of the $10,000,000 project, which is equally owned by the Los Angeles Turf Club and Columbia Broadcasting System."

Special instructions: For Monday 17th. 29: Don Dreager, supervisor of animation for Neptune's Kingdom at Pacific Ocean Park, inspects a synthetic sponge rainbow fish which, with the undersea growth around him, will be a part of display. 30: Same, only Dreager is carrying a giant synthetic sponge turtle. Animated fish and another marine props comprise only a few of many items designed and built on the premises for the $10,000,000 project. 57: Irving Freige, who modeled giant fiberglass sea horses and, with his brother, George, built them, puts finishing touches on one of three sea horses which will revolve 61 feet high over the Pacific Ocean Park entrance. Colored lights will flash on the semi-transparent decorations (see pix of entrance model.)"
